East Coast Adventure!

I know it has been a really long time since I have put up some pictures, but I finally got the pictures off of the camera! (Woohoo!) Doug and I are now safely in Midland, Texas.. after a bit of an adventure getting here. We are happy and healthy, though! I will explain the pictures as I go..

This is probably our favorite place to eat in New Haven. This was on Doug's birthday!

This is the clock tower on Yale's campus. I swear some of these buildings look like they should be at Hogwarts.

So this picture is out of order for some reason.. haha. But this is a dog that quickly became my friend at a pool party we went to.

We went to the Central Park Zoo in NYC. Apparently some of the pictures are a tad out of order.. just hang in there with me :)

This Polar Bear was swimming and floating back and forth the entire time we watched him. I have another picture where you can see my face better, but you can see the bear better in this one. He was so fun to watch!

Doug was so excited to see where the Dave Letterman show was filmed! Little did we know we would get free tickets to be in the audience a few days later.

The new "I'm a Mormon" sign in Times Square. It was HUGE! We were proud.

Doug and I went to Lighthouse Point Park a couple days before the 4th of July.

It was gorgeous.

I think I'll frame this at some point. It was such a beautiful part of town.

We had the opportunity to meet up with some people from Doug's mission! It was so fun! He hadn't seen them since his mission.

This was in the hotel where Doug's ending conference was held. I had come to watch him give his presentation. We took some time to admire the beautiful landscape they made in the hotels atrium.

We decided to take one last walk around Yale's campus before we left.

Apparently its good luck to rub this guy's left foot. He was a President of Yale at one point, and whenever he would kick off the rowing team with his left foot they would win.

The first U.S. spy. He was really horrible at it and ended up getting caught. But hey, at least he was the first!

I had always been intrigued by this little place, it looked so pretty. So we went in. Haha.

Whew! I hope you all enjoyed seeing a little glimpse of our time in New Haven. Believe it or not there are more pictures to come from when we went to Boston, and on our way to Midland! As of now we are doing really well. Doug is working hard and I couldn't be more proud to be his wife. We love and miss all of our family and friends!
